Oyakodon (簡単親子丼), is a donburi, or Japanese rice bowl dish, in which chicken, egg, sliced onion are added. Sometimes, people also add the cabbage. It is a very easy and quick chicken meal / dish because all ingredients are all simmered together in a sauce which is made with soy sauce and stock, and then served on top of a large bowl of rice. Oyako-don / donburi is so simple that even a kid can make it.
